
The André Schroeder Research Prize is an annual award presented in honor of the late Professor Schroeder, who pioneered dental implantology and whose life’s work contributed greatly to modern dentistry. Worth CHF 20,000 in cash, the Prize is one of the most prestigious in the field and is awarded for the advancement of dental research and development. It serves to promote new scientific findings in oral implantology, dental tissue regeneration and related fields.
First presented in 1992, the André Schroeder Research Prize is adjudicated by the Research Committee of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and is sponsored by Straumann, illustrating the company’s commitment in the field of scientific research and development. The Research Committee is made up of international specialists in implant dentistry and related fields.
