The General Meeting elects the auditors on an annual basis. In 2010, PricewaterhouseCoopers AG (PwC) Basel was re-elected as the auditor and group auditor of Straumann Holding AG. The auditor in charge was Thomas Brüderlin, Swiss Certified Public Accountant, who took over the mandate in 2005.

The Board of Directors performs its supervision and control of the external auditors through the Audit Committee, which met five times in 2010.
The Board of Directors has not delegated any management tasks to companies outside of the Company.
