Straumann® CARES® Digital Solutions

Straumann® CARES® Digital Solutions include state-of-the-art guided surgery, intra-oral scanning, and a full range of CADCAM prosthetics. The main advantage lies in the fact that the complete package comes from a single provider and is designed for seamless connectivity to simplify workflows and to link dental professionals across disciplines.

Straumann® CARES® Guided Surgery: 3D imaging technologies are used to plan the position, depth and angulation of an implant. The planning software designs a surgical template which is used to guide the implant drills precisely, thus aiming at providing more predictable esthetic outcomes.

Intra-oral scanning: Intra-oral scanning allows for virtual impression taking in the dental practice. Straumann digital solutions connect it with the CARES® software, an open software platform, and the prosthetic elements can be produced via the validated Straumann workflow.

Straumann® CARES® CADCAM: Our digital business also focuses on the computer-aided design and centralized milling (CADCAM) of prosthetic crowns, bridges and abutments made of modern, biocompatible, durable and esthetic materials.
