Our regenerative products are designed to regenerate oral tissue, either to support implant procedures, or to help preserve teeth after treatment for periodontal disease.
Periodontitis is the inflammation of tissues that surround and support teeth. Treatment involves controlling the causative bacteria and inflammation as well as subsequent restoration of the periodontal tissues in order to regain tooth attachment. This is what our regenerative products are designed for.
Emdogain® promotes the regeneration of damaged periodontal tissue and is thus designed to stabilize and save teeth.1 It is one of the most widely studied and documented dental products and is featured in more than 400 scientific publications.
BoneCeramic™ is a fully synthetic bone substitute which favors the formation of new vital bone. Alternatively, Straumann® Allograft, a material derived from humans, is currently available in the US and Canada.
MembraGel® is a new generation membrane for use in guided bone regeneration. Oral bone augmentation procedures often use barrier membranes to help stabilize the bone graft and to prevent unwanted growth of soft tissue into the defect.
