Peri-implant tissue management:
the keys to aesthetic success
Controlling post-extraction resorption phenomena has been a major challenge in dentistry for many decades. Preserving alveolar and mucosal volume is essential to obtain a future bio-mimetic implant restoration. Therefore, when an osteo-mucosal volume is present on a tooth to be extracted, every effort should be made to preserve it.
During his lecture, Dr Nuno Gil will show how to achieve long-term results in post-extraction cases, returning function and esthetic to the patient.
Then, Dr Patrice Margossian will present the different technics of tissue regeneration. From the management of extraction sockets to immediate extraction-implantation techniques through the use of anatomical abutments, all flight plans will be revealed to you.

Dr Nuno Gil graduated in 2003 at Alfonso X University, Spain. In 2008, he graduated in dental aesthetics at Newton Fahl Institute in Curitiba, Brazil. Then he got a diploma in Implantology and periodontology from the ImplantePerio course in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Dr Nuno Gil is the medical director of Clinica Dental Nuno Gil in Burgos, Spain, and the head of the clinical training center of Clinica Dental Nuno Gil.

Dr Patrice Margossian graduated in dental surgery in 1999 at the University of Marseille, France. In 2008, he got his PhD in odontology, further to research studies on the immediate implant loading.
Currently, he runs a private in Marseille, specialized in implantology and periodontology. In parallel, he is lecturer on aesthetic and implantology. Head of the « Smile-Concept » implantology education center, he is also the author and co-author of many national and international publications.
