4.1 Review visit

The review visit with the patient should take place approximately 2 weeks after insertion of the final prosthesis. The assessment of the patient’s experience with the new crown and the necessity of potential adjustments are an important part of this treatment step. In the case of a screw-retained crown, you can replace the temporary filling material with a permanent one if you and your patient are satisfied. Furthermore, the review visit gives you the opportunity to reinforce optimal oral hygiene and care of the implant-borne restoration with your patient.
