What is the Straumann World Class Cup?

The Straumann World Class Cup is a global championship for clinicians to showcase their expertise on our key topics in dentistry: Regenerative, Digital, Immediacy and Esthetics.

The championship will run from September to December 2022 and will entail 3 rounds where all teams play against each other (matches assigned through a draw for transparency) in a virtual format and a 4th face to face round where the most voted teams will compete in the final during the ESTHETIC DAYS event.

Each country team will be composed of 4 clinicians and subject matter expert to represent the team in one topic, meaning that each clinician will play only once, exactly in the round of his/her expertise, bringing a clinical case to the international jury.

Each match consists of a presentation of a clinical case. During each round and match, a jury of world-renowned experts will evaluate the cases and assign points. Additionally, there will be a component of public voting to allow the teams to accumulate higher scores.

Attractive prizes will be assigned along the entire championship to give as many opportunities as possible to all the teams.

When is the Straumann World Class Cup running?

The championship will run from September to December 2022 and will entail:

3 rounds virtually:

The 4th round where the most voted teams will compete face to face in the final during the ESTHETIC DAYS event in Palma de Mallorca in December.

How does the Straumann World Class Cup work?

The Straumann World Class Cup includes 4 rounds. Each round will have a length of 90 minutes and followed by a round of questions from the jury. Each team must present a clinical case on the topic of the round.

A jury of experts will assign scores to all teams that play in the 4 days in each round, and the player who receives the highest scores will be awarded the “Winner of the Match/Round”. The public audience can also vote during the whole contest in the platform, adding this way scores to the jury evaluation and compose on the scoring board influencing the final team ranking.

There will be always the possibility to check in the virtual environment which are the team who are accumulating higher scores.

At the end of the 3 first rounds the TOP 4 most scored teams will go to the finals at the ESTHETIC DAYS where they will compete Face2Face to determine the winner of the Straumann World Class Cup.
