With the wide range of implant types and prosthetic components available today, it is crucial to understand which implant material to use according to the case that is treated. In this workshop you will learn how to select the implant design, surface and material to fill patient needs and achieve predictability in the long run.

Who is Jordi Caballé?
Jordi Caballé-Serrano is an Associate Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya in Barcelona, and Associate Researcher in the Department of Oral Surgery and Stomatology at the Dental School in the University of Bern, Switzerland. His training was performed both in Barcelona and Bern, where he achieved a Master in Biomaterials Research, an Oral Surgery and Implantology specialty, a Dr. med. dent title and an international PhD. He considers himself as a "hybrid" as he spends half of his time in the clinics and half in the lab. He focuses his clinical practice on oral implantology and his research on guided bone regeneration and bone biology. Author of numerous international top-ranked publications and speaker in national and international events, is an active member of the ITI as well as being the Director of the ITI Study Club Barcelona.
