Christian Berbalk

Christian Berbalk is a senior executive with extensive experience in the dental industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President at Straumann Group in Basel, where he drives global business operations, transformation, and customer-centric strategies across orthodontics and implants. Previously, he led the Implant Business Unit & Connected Customer Solutions EMEA and held leadership roles in marketing, commercial excellence, and dental service organizations within Straumann. Before Straumann, he was Managing Director and minority shareholder at DentConnect, spearheading business growth and acquisitions in Germany. He also held multiple leadership positions at Nobel Biocare, overseeing marketing, business development, and regional management across Europe, achieving notable turnarounds and growth. Earlier in his career, he worked as a strategy consultant at Capgemini with a focus on pharma and chemicals. He holds advanced degrees in Business Administration and International Management from the University of St. Gallen, ESADE Barcelona, and IMD Lausanne.
