Irena Sailer

Prof. Dr. med. dent. Dentist and Specialist in Reconstructive Dentistry (SSRD). Main areas of expertise include fixed prosthodontics, digital dentistry, implantology, and esthetic dentistry. She completed her dental studies at the University of Tübingen, Germany, and her postgraduate training at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. She is Director of the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics and Biomaterials at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. She also serves as Associate Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, USA, and Honorary Professor at Aarhus University, Denmark. She is Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Prosthodontics and a member of the ICP. She is an international lecturer and author of numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications. She is a Board Member of the Swiss Society for Reconstructive Dentistry (SSRD), the Swiss Leadership Team of the ITI (International Team for Implantology), and the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO). She is also a member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and an Active Fellow of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics.
