Larissa Steigmann

Larissa Steigmann received her first dental degree (DMD) from Goethe University Frankfurt. She continued her education as the recipient of the Jeffrey Johnston Fellowship at the University of Michigan, where she completed a three-year residency in Periodontics and obtained her Master of Science (MS). She subsequently continued her fellowship at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she currently serves as a faculty member in the Department of Oral Medicine, Infection, and Immunity. Dr. Steigmann has conducted numerous research projects in the field of personalized oral care and implant rehabilitation, several of which have been published in peer-reviewed international journals. She also serves as a reviewer for journals in the fields of periodontology and implant dentistry. Dr. Steigmann has received multiple awards, including the LeGro Scholarship, the Billy A. Smith Award, and the Dr. and Mrs. Kramer Scholar Award of Excellence, presented by the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation for excellence in both character and academic achievement. Dr. Steigmann is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and maintains a clinical practice focused on periodontology and implant dentistry.
