Giulio Rasperini

Associate Professor of Dentistry and Periodontology at the Department of Biomedical, Surgical and Dental Sciences at the University of Milan, and Adjunct Professor at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine (Boston, USA) and the University of Michigan (USA).

He holds a degree in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics from the University of Pavia (1990) and a specialization in Orthodontics from the University of Milan (1997). He has served as a Researcher in Oral Diseases (MED/28) since 2006 and as an Associate Professor since 2016 at the Dental Clinic of the Fondazione IRCCS Ca’ Granda Policlinico di Milano.

He served as Vice President of the Italian Society of Periodontology and Implantology (SIdP) for the 2016–2017 term and is an Active Member of the SIdP, the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED), and the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (BAAD), as well as a Board member of the International Academy of Periodontology (IAP).

He conducts clinical and teaching activities in the Periodontology and Oral Surgery departments and coordinates internationalization and Erasmus programs for the University of Milan. He is the founder of the iPerio Education Center (Piacenza), a research and training facility.

His research focuses on Periodontology, Implantology, and Regenerative Medicine, comprising over 120 publications in PubMed-indexed international journals, book chapters (including *Lindhe – Clinical Periodontology and Implant Dentistry*), and numerous conference presentations. He holds an h-index of over 40 with more than 6,000 citations.

He has lectured at international congresses across five continents and has won prestigious scientific awards, including the Brånemark International Research Award, the Goldman Prize (SIdP), the Clinical Research Award (EAO), the Earl Robinson Periodontal Regeneration Award (AAP), and the Align Research Award.
