The quality and quantity of the peri-implant soft tissues is important to ensure optimal aesthetic result around dental implants, as well as ensuring long-term peri-implant health. In this seminar Dr. Michael Danesh-Meyer will explore how the gingival biotype can influence treatment outcomes with dental implants. We will review different surgical protocols available to improve the gingival biotype and the timing of such procedures relative to implant placement surgery.
