Prof Dr Julia Wittneben

 

Prof Dr Wittneben is a Senior Lecturer at the Department for Reconstructive Dentistry at the University of Bern since 2008.

She is a part-time faculty member at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, USA. She received her degree and doctorate from the University of Witten/Herdecke in Germany. Dr. Wittneben completed a three-year postgraduate specialist training in Prosthodontics at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and holds a Master of Medical Science from Harvard University. She was awarded the Joseph L. Henry Award for "Overall Achievement in Clinical and Research Training and Contribution to the University" from Harvard University. In 2011 she was appointed as Visiting Assistant Professor at both Harvard and Tufts University.

Dr. Wittneben actively participates in research related to prosthodontics, esthetics, and implant therapy and is publishing in international peer-reviewed journals. She is ITI fellow and the author of the 6th ITI Treatment Guide published in 2013.
