ITI Treatment Concept Webinar 2: Contemporary Bio-Restorative Implant Planning

Ponentes: Ignacio Pedrinaci

Lugar: ONLINE - Zoom Webinar Online

Implant dentistry has undergone a significant transformation, shifting from a primarily surgical to a prosthetically driven approach. This evolution is a result of a deeper understanding of bone reconstructive techniques and variables that ensure the predictability of implant treatments. The recent introduction of digital planning has further revolutionised the field, merging both approaches to create a new paradigm. This combined concept, known as bio-restorative, is not just a new term, but a new way of thinking. It aims to minimise patient morbidity while achieving satisfactory aesthetic and restorative designs. The bio-restorative concept is a holistic approach, considering all aesthetic, functional, and biological factors in a virtual planning environment, ideally before tooth extraction. It involves a simultaneous assessment of anatomical site characteristics and implant restorative variables, including abutment selection to respect the supra platform tissue configuration during the implant planning stage.
