Description

The communities of CoDE (Centre of Dental Education and WIN (Women Implantology Network) combine to share with you knowledge and expertise from renowned world leaders in Digital implant dentistry. With 5 speakers and a live moderated discussion, this Symposium will provide you with a start-to-finish overview of how digital technology can improve treatment predictability and enhance patient care and team communication in complex full arch cases. Join this symposium to take your digital dentistry to the next level and beyond. The maturation of the field of implant dentistry with regards to digital technology and materials has improved treatment efficiency as well as both esthetic and functional predictability. The utilization of a comprehensive and synergistic digital workflow, based on sound evidence-based principles and team communication, is one way to satisfy these demands. The synergy workflow incorporates the digital acquisition of patient data, a virtual wax-up, pre-surgical planning of the implant position followed by template, and provisional fabrication through an additive or milling process, prior to initiating the surgical procedure. With patient awareness increasing from radio, TV, and social media; prompting them to seek treatment, clinicians find themselves faced with the need to offer these services. In addition, evidence-based treatment protocols promote the social, functional, and esthetic benefits of dental implant-supported restorations, and with the increased integration of digital technology, this process has become streamlined for the treatment team. Learning objectives: To recognize factors of significance in the assessment of patients for CBCT guided placement and loading of implants. Become familiar with the varying template designs for the placement of implants in the single and full-arch situations. Understand techniques involved with immediate loading of implants for a single and full-arch fixed prosthesis.
