The primary responsibilities of this position include supporting the Sales Excellence Team on Field Sales Force Tools & Processes as well as Inside Sales Operations. On the Sales Force part, the primary responsibility of this position will be to design, improve, and monitor various Sales Excellence tools and processes, enabling Field Sales Employees to become more effective, productive and efficient. This responsibility requires regular communication and coordination with Sales Leaders, mainly on reporting matters.
On the Inside Sales part, the primary responsibility will be to support the Inside Sales Team on various aspects related to Sales Performance Management. Additionally, the role requires an active contribution to strategic decisions on Inside Sales commission structure and the definition of effective customer assignment models.
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Sales Force Tools & Processes (~50% of working time)
Designing and continuously improving and monitoring Sales Excellence processes and tools, including IANOS Surgical, IANOS Labs, CRM Activities, Biomaterial Reports, Restorative Reports & Launch Tracking Reports
Responsible for the design and continuous training of Field Sales on Business Warehouse (BW)
Provide analytical support to Sales Leaders, and Director of Sales Excellence, as required
Prepare, drive and deliver the annual surgical segmentation together with Headquarters and the Sales Team. This includes acting as a Central Coordinator between the Sales Force and Global Sales Controlling, coordinate internal information flow within your Sales Organization, send relevant Segmentation instructions/tool package to Sales reps and return reviewed and agreed thresholds to Sales Controlling
Provides ad-hoc analytical support to other departments, with priority given to requests from NAM Sales Force
Inside Sales Operations (~50% of working time)
Provide analytical support to the Inside Sales Manager as required
Participate in the design and implementation of the targeting strategy including monthly preparation of target lists, customer assignments and collaborating with field sales in order to maximize the campaigns impact
Design and conduct daily monitoring/reporting of Inside Sales performance (Sales & Activities)
Participate in the design of the Inside Sales commission plan, as well as calculate timely & reliable Inside Sales commissions, adjustments, returns, bonus and other performance related incentives
Prepare and distribute commission statements to the Inside Sales Manager on a monthly basis Support a continuous improvement methodology in all aspects of Inside Sales Strategy & Execution
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education
3 to 5 years relevant experience
Medical device industry experience preferred
Financial modeling is a skill that will be relied upon to be successful in this role.
Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office products is necessary.
Strong team, organizational, interpersonal and communications skills are necessary
