    Position Summary:
    The Business Development Manager (BDM) is a remotely based role that reports to the Sr. Digital Business Development Director of North America. The BDM is responsible driving the implementation and execution of the digital solutions strategic plan for CANADA through various teams and key stakeholders. The BDM will further develop market penetration of the Straumann Digital Solutions offering and achieve the related financial results based on the company’s Digital Work Flow (DWF) Strategy.

    The BDM will work according to the Digital Strategy, through multiple channels to drive and manage leads and sales. This person will interface regularly with the Straumann Group Sales Teams (STMN Dental, STMN Lab, DSO and PR) to execute the Digital Sales Activity Plan for Straumann, as well as being the main point of contact for our Distributor Partner’s leadership teams and sales teams. The BDM will work on strategy, provide training, educational content and access to technical support to customers, internal teams and Distributor Partner Teams as needed.

    The BDM will closely collaborate with marketing on the development of new products and digital launches to provide input as a market expert. The BDM will also collaborate and provide input to the Education Team to guarantee that we have the right education programs in place to support the Digital Strategy and that all the relevant stakeholders are fully trained on our Digital products and services; including KOLs.

    Excellent presentation, communications, writing, editing, human relations and interpersonal skills are required. Position will collaborate with multiple teams across the organization as well as with multiple external strategic partners.

    Major Responsibilities of the Position:
    • Execute Sales Target of the Digital Area for both Sales channels; Direct and Distributors
    • Develop and Manage Sales & the Lead Process with Distributors and Internal Partners (Sales, Marketing, DSO)
    • Develop & grow the Chairside Business with the Distributors, Partners and Sales Teams (lead generators)
    • Lead management; responsible for lead generation, follow up and its conversion
    • Implementation of training programs of our Distributors and STMN Sales teams
    • Identification, training and support of KOLs for the DWF (in collaboration with Marketing)
    • Business Development activities that support Education Centers that represent our DWF for our Customers, Distributor Teams and our Sales Teams
    • Implementation and execution of continuous educational programs that support the DWF strategy in conjunction with internal and external partners
    • Collaborate with the DSO team in defining proposals, in the Digital field, and help with the execution
    • Digital Solutions Projects with internal team, partners and customers as needed
    • Provide and guide access to technical support to customers as needed and communicate additional needs pro-actively to partners and Straumann HQ

    Other Duties:
    • Proactively evaluate and recommend new ways to ensure that Straumann Digital Solutions meet the needs of the business and of the market
    • Collaborate with the Marketing & Education Team identify and develop an external speaker pool (KOLs)
    • Collaborate with the Marketing team to provide input on the most effective product demos, events & activities to support Business Development activities
    • Work with KOLs, internal teams and distributors to keep all up to date on product information
    • Provide input to the Product Management Team and Internal Training Department to develop presentations and/or educational materials for use by all teams involved
    • Provide and support supplemental lectures and hands-on courses that help to drive the business
    • Provide input on customer education needs and support customer technical training as needed

Votre profil

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Candidate must reside within Canada; i.e. Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal Areas
    • Minimum 5-7 Years Sales and/or Business Development
    • Med-tech industry background; Dental preferred
    • Bachelor’s Degree Required
    • Proven ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter
    • Proven ability to work collaboratively to ensure success for multiple stakeholders
    • Proven project management and sales process skills
    • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

    Work Environment and Physical Demands:
