How can I learn more about the digital impression/ intraoral scanning?

How can I learn more about my treatment planning?

There are a number of use cases within this step. For the use case related to uploading your own treatment plan as a file, please watch this video . For other use cases, we keep collecting the content for you to ensure we cover all the critical use cases for your treatment.

I don’t know how to contact Smile In a Box i.e. how can I get support once I’ve submitted the order?

On your e-mail correspondence you will find your point of contact assigned to you. You can also email: order.smileinabox.eu@straumann.com  

What is the turnaround time for Smile In a Box i.e. what happens to my order when I submit it?

You can expect your Smile In a Box order within 10 working days as of the order submission: 

Step 1:  You receive the auto-confirmation via email once the order issubmitted ( within 24 hours) 

Step 2: You will then receive the treatment plan ( within 48 hours of ordering)  

Step 3: You either review the treatment plan via email or via a video consultation arranged at your convenience via email as selected in your order form ( usually 3-4 days after the order submission) 

Step 4: Once approved via email, your Smile In a Box  case goes to production ( 5-7 working days after order submission) 

Step 5:  Your Smile In a Box case is shipped to the clinic ( 7-10 days from order submission)  

How can I add my clinical preferences to the order?

In the Smile In a Box order form there is a comment section where you can add your clinical preferences to the order.

Can I order biomaterials through Smile In a Box?

Yes they can be ordered at the same time as the Smile In a Box case.

Can I order scanbodies through Smile In a Box?

Not at this moment, however this will be available in the future. In the mean time please place orders for scanbodies via eshop or customer services

What files need to be used for my guided surgery service?
