    Position Summary
    Plan and execute tradeshows and events in support of Straumann Group Sales & Marketing goals. Work cross functionally with Sales, Marketing, Education leaders and staff to determine the objectives of an event or tradeshow and effectively manage messaging, logistics and staffing with budget

    Job Responsibilities
    This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
    • Support Tradeshow & Event Manager in planning and execution of tradeshow & event program
    • Independently manage show contracts and association relationships
    • Negotiate hotel contracts or arrange for housing through housing bureau for all Straumann Group participants
    • Lead the selection of appropriate booth staff and communicate staffing expectations and applicable event logistics
    • Determine appropriate equipment and products needed for the exhibit, and organize the packing, shipping and ordering of any necessary materials
    • Lead communication to the staff, sales force and internal teams on the event logistics
    • Execute event onsite by supervising booth set-up, organizing staff and handling any onsite issues that arise
    • Lead 6-10 NAM tradeshows per year
    • Lead the execution of each show by working with Product Marketing, Sales and Education teams to identify show objectives, strategies and tactics
    • Drive booth traffic through pre-show promotion channels, onsite demos, booth design and other creative marketing and branding initiatives
    • Negotiate and manage supplier network for exhibit necessities (i.e. exhibit components booth talent, third party vendors, etc.
    • Process Purchase Requisitions for all trade show purchases in SAP
    • Pack and ship materials from Andover office to events as necessary
    • Communicates timely with attendees for each event, both internal and external
    • Prepare event planning documentation
    • Maintain event metrics and reporting
    • Maintain logistics of event materials
    • Own & manage NAM Regional Shows
    • Help plan and execute Key Customer Events and User Group Conferences
    • Work with Marketing, Sales and Education to define objectives, theme and ensure event is produced to properly reflect the quality and standard of the organization
    • Inventory management and tracking in conjunction with Exhibit House
    • Work with Product Managers, Marcomm Managers and graphic design team on event related materials.

    Minimum Qualifications
    • Minimum 3-5 years in a professional work environment
    • Minimum 1-2 years in a tradeshow/event role
    • Proven project management skills
    • Prior exposure to tradeshows and events a requirement
    • Ability to travel, nights and weekends (30%)
    • College degree in Business, preferably in Marketing or Hospitality
    • Ability to responsibly prioritize in a time sensitive environment
    • Quick problem solving
    • Flexible team player
    • Outgoing, welcoming and professional demeanor
    • Trade Show exposure
    • Clear communication and strong attention to detail are essential to the success of this role
    • Solutions oriented
    • SAP knowledge and experience a plus

    Work Environment & Physical Demands
    • No special physical demands required.
    • Occasional travel to tradeshows may be required.
