Throughout history, people on every continent have been fascinated with and tried to figure out how to work on restore and replace teeth. Whether this was through extraction, and immediate placement of some sort of bone, utilizing metals or stone teeth, or any other means; teeth have been made in every way imaginable. This has led us to the placement of implants and restorations! We will go through the development if an implant treatment plan and talk about pearls and pitfalls of examining a patient. We will talk about the factors that influence the success of placing implants specifically and talk candidly about complications that may arise and how to work through them.
