The Latin American Institute of Dental Research and Education (ILAPEO) started acting as a facility with the first graduating class authorized by the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC). Created in 2004 by the entrepreneurs Geninho and Clemilda Thomé, the institute was founded as the dental research and education branch of Neodent, the leading company in the dental implant sector.
To develop personal, professional and public training of excellence in the area of health and well-being, integrating education/training and scientific research through theoretical and methodological knowledge in a socially and environmentally responsible manner.
To become a higher education institution of reference in the area of health and well-being and in the creation and sharing of knowledge for social, economic, cultural and regional development.
