Description

The course focuses on state-of-the-art oral implant dentistry and advanced soft tissue reconstruction. It is highly practice-oriented and consists of approximately 80% practical application and 20% technical explanations and live/video operations.The hands-on training is performed on freshly frozen human heads.In this two-day course you will learn and practice different bone augmentation concepts and soft tissue techniques to perform large bone augmentation procedures successfully. The augmentation procedures will focus on three-dimensional reconstruction with allogenic cortical plates and bone blocks and our innovative resorbable NOVAMag® magnesium product line. Further highlights will be soft tissue grafting with acellular dermal matrices and treatment concepts with our unique bovine bone graft with hyaluronic acid.

Maxilla– General and special anatomy of the head – dissection of anatomical danger zone (palatine + infraorbicular nerve + facial artery)– Immediate and delayed implant concepts with advanced techniques for thickening of peri-implant soft tissue– Sinus Lift procedures – lateral/crestal approach (piezosurgery)

Day 2 | 09.00 a.m. – 05.00 p.m.

Mandible– General and special anatomy of the head – dissection of anatomical danger zone (lingual + inf. alveolar + mental nerve + submental artery)– Advanced bone augmentation with allografts: Shell Technique and Bone block augmentation– Guided bone regeneration with the resorbable NOVAMag® product line
