    Founding of the Dr. Ing. R. Straumann AG Research Institute (preliminary activities in the 1930s and 1940s).
  • 1960s
    Development of internal fixation implants and research on the surgical treatment of bone fractures.
  • 1974
    Launch of the world’s first one-stage implant by Straumann.
