The initial studies and research that supported the development of the Grand Morse system started about 5 years ago. The team responsible for creating the system was aiming to find solutions for immediate loading, CAD CAM workflow and strengthen implants and abutments. A variety of clinical trials was performed in order to validate all solutions in different techniques, from single esthetic cases to full arches functional rehabilitations. The objective of the present presentation is to show in vitro and clinical applied research that will provide evidence for the best outcomes taken from the use of this implant system under the described situations. | |
| 3:00 - 5:00 PM | Dr. Geniho Thome | Hands-on with the Neodent® Grand Morse™ Helix™ Long and Zygomatic Implants | The treatment of atrophic maxilla is a clinical challenge since the initial studies of osseointegrated implants. Nowadays, this concept evolved and is not only applied to edentulous patients in healed areas. Patients compromised by periodontal diseases started to be immediately treated with less number and longer implants. The aim of the present hands-on is to present a new zygomatic implant system created to promote better periimplant tissue results in the long term and new drills specially made for this technique. Also, it will be described an implant system specific for the treatment of patients with severe bone loss and submitted to immediate treatment plans. | |
