Dr. Mario Roccuzzo
Mario Roccuzzo lectures in periodontology and is a member of the attending staff of the Division of Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Turin, Italy. He is an active member of the Italian Society of Periodontology and serves on the editorial boards of Clinical Oral Implants Research, International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry, and the International Journal of Esthetic Dentistry. He has been invited to lecture in more than 30 countries on every continent and maintains a private practice limited to periodontology and implantology in Turin. He was distinguished for the best clinical presentation on implants in periodontally compromised patients at the 2009 EAO Congress in Montecarlo and the best published research article on the same subject by the DGP (German Society of Periodontology) in 2010. He was awarded the 2013 Osteology Clinical Research Prize on long-term stability of soft tissues around implants following ridge preservation.
