Dr. Levine holds teaching positions at the Temple University, the University of Pittsburgh, the University of North Carolina, and the University of Illinois in Chicago. He maintained a full-time private practice in Philadelphia for over 35 years in periodontics and implantology.

He is a graduate from Temple University School of Dentistry (1981) received his post-graduate certificate in Periodontics from the University of Pennsylvania (1984). Dr. Levine is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and the incoming US Section Chair in Oct 2024. He is the President and Fellow of the International Society of Periodontal Plastic Surgeons (FISPPS), a Fellow, Diplomate, and a Board of Director of the Academy of Osseointegration (AO) and has authored over 100 scientific publications and 6 book chapters.
