In the current issue of the newsletter, we would like to draw your attention on the article by Huynh-Ba G. et al published in the Clinical Oral Implants Research (COIR).
The authors compared esthetic, clinical, radiographic, and patient-centered outcomes following immediate and early placement of the Straumann BL implants.
Apart from 100% survival of all implants included into the study, the authors report no significant changes with regards of all studied parameters.
Therefore, the data confirms immediate implant placement approach being a reliable and well accepted treatment modality.
