Description

The implant-supported prosthetic can improve esthetic, functional, and hygienic concerns of the partially edentulous patient that other prosthetic solutions, at times, cannot. As a result, the implant-supported prosthesis is quickly becoming the restorative choice for both patient and clinician when rehabilitating missing teeth. Now with the advent of the digital workflow in implantology, placing the dental implant is becoming safer and more efficient, and therefore also quickly becoming the workflow of choice for implant planning and delivery. This presentation will highlight both surgical and prosthodontic considerations in the rehabilitation of the single missing tooth using a digital workflow. Furthermore, this lecture will familiarize the participants with the technology involved in this workflow.
