DOWNLOAD the January/February issue of our “Scientific Highlights” newsletter with short summaries of recently published scientific evidence.
In the current issue of the newsletter, we would like to draw your attention on the article by Eckert S et al. published in the International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Implants (JOMI).
The authors evaluated use the of intentionally tilted Straumann® BLT implants to retain an immediately loaded fixed full-arch implant-retained prosthesis using four implants according to the Straumann® Pro Arch concept.
They report implant survival of 98.1% after 1 year of function and 99.8% of prostheses fulfilling “intention to treat” category and loaded on the day of implant surgery.
These data confirm that the Straumann® Pro Arch can be considered safe and predictable option for immediate full arch restoration.
