In the current issue of the newsletter, we would like to draw your attention on the article by Cardaropoli et al. published in the International Journal of Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry.
The authors evaluated the insertion of the Straumann BLT implants (Roxolid®/SLActive®) in intact fresh extraction sockets in the anterior maxilla.
Apart from 100% survival after 1 year, the authors report stable marginal bone levels followed by the horizontal width of the post-extraction crest well-preserved independently from the thickness of the buccal bone plate at baseline.
