The ITI launches ITI@home initiatives with free access to eLearning content.

The ITI is ramping up online activities in response to the global lockdown.

Challenging circumstances are putting the global population under pressure. To show its solidarity with and provide the dental profession with an additional activity option during this difficult time, the International Team for Implantology (ITI) is launching a series of online initiatives.

ITI@home

The ITI has opened its entire eLearning offering with free viewing access to its more than 750 learning items to dental professionals everywhere until April 30, 2020. Anyone who is interested can sign up on a dedicated landing page at www.iti.org/iti-at-home to make use of the ITI’s full range of evidence-based and peer-reviewed content. The elearning material includes Learning Modules and Congress Lectures, Clinical Cases and Reports, Learning Pathways and Assessments as well as the SAC Assessment Tool. This initiative is intended to motivate dental professionals to continue exploring and broadening their knowledge base in implant dentistry.

USD 500 discount on ITI Online Curriculum Foundation level

For practitioners new to implant dentistry, the ITI Online Curriculum Foundation level is an effective way to learn the basic principles and science of implant dentistry within a flexible, structured and standardized education curriculum. Participants earn CE hours and an ITI Certificate in Implant Dentistry on successfully completing the 35 Learning Modules and the final examination. The ITI is offering a USD 500 discount in order to encourage professionals to extend their skills while at home.

ITI Online Study Clubs

To allow the more than 740 ITI Study Clubs around the world to meet online, the ITI is providing each of them with a virtual classroom and access to e-learning content as well as the necessary administrative tools. ITI Study Club members will be able to continue discussing clinical questions and exchanging expertise with their peers in their own language within a trusted environment. Many Study Club Directors have already started preparations to move their meetings online in order to stay connected.

Engage and inspire

“While many of us have to stay home, the ITI as a global community takes its responsibility to ‘engage and inspire the global dental profession’ seriously”, said Stephen Chen, ITI President. “Taking advantage of this online learning opportunity is particularly important at a time when we are all feeling uncertain about the future but ready to follow a positive path”.

The ITI is committed to supporting its membership and the dental profession as a whole

over the long term and aspires in this way to making a useful contribution.
