In this issue, the editor’s choice is the article by E Schmid et al., published in the Clinical Implant Dentistry and Related Research, 2021 Jan 15.
The article studied the use of implant supported single-unit crowns with cantilever extension in posterior areas after ≥10 years of loading.
The results showed that Tissue level implants with SLA surface are a reliable long-term treatment option with a 100% implant survival rate and minimal marginal bone level changes.
