In the current issue of the newsletter, we would like to draw your attention to the latest research articles published in November and December 2023.
In this issue, the editor’s choice is the article published in the Clinical Oral Implants Research “Small-diameter titanium grade IV and titanium-zirconium implants in edentulous mandibles: Ten-year results from a double-blind, randomised controlled split-mouth core-trial” authored by Frauke Müller.
The article addresses the 10-year performance of 3.3 mm diameter titanium-zirconium (TiZr) or grade IV titanium (Ti) implants in mandibular implant-overdentures. The results obtained confirm that TiZr is a well-suited implant material for realizing small-diameter implants.
