Andre Chen

DDS, MSc, PhD Professor Chen graduated in dentistry from Lisbon University School of Dentistry in 2004, moving to New York in 2006, where he completed his specialty in Implant Dentistry at NYU - College of Dentistry . From 2006 to 2008, he returned to Lisbon to undertake his Oral Surgery Specialty training (2009-2012), where he became a Portuguese board-certified specialist. He finished his PhD in Oral Medicine/Oral Surgery at the University of Lisbon in 2019 with Summa Cum Laude honors. After 18 years at Lisbon University, where he helped to lay the foundations of current Oral Surgery and Implant programs, he is currently taking a sabbatical from academia for a few years to found International Advanced Dentistry, a prestige and elite institution where he develops his clinical work with state-of-the-art technology and privately teaches Implant Digital Dentistry.
