Kai Fischer

Certified specialist in periodontology (ZÄKWL, DGParo) with extensive clinical and academic experience. He runs a private practice, "Fachpraxis für Parodontologie & Implantologie", in Würzburg. Currently, he is a senior clinical lecturer in the Division for Periodontology & Peri-Implant Diseases, University of Zurich. Previously, he served as a senior physician in the Department of Periodontology at the University of Witten/Herdecke (2014–2016) and was a researcher and clinical lecturer at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute in London (2013–2014). He completed his specialization in periodontology with the DGParo in 2013. His academic journey includes a habilitation "venia legendi" at the University of Zurich (2022), a doctorate in dentistry (2011), postgraduate training in periodontology (2010–2012), and a degree in dentistry from the University of Würzburg (2009).
