Manrique Fonseca

Dr. med. dent, MAS Dr. Fonseca is a board-certified prosthodontist (Swiss Society of Reconstructive Dentistry) and a senior lecturer in the Department of Reconstructive Dentistry and Gerodontology. His undergraduate studies were completed in Costa Rica, where he also worked in private practice and completed a Fellowship in Prosthodontics at the University of Costa Rica. At the Albert-Ludwig University of Freiburg, Germany, he completed his specialization in Prosthodontics and obtained his Dr. med. dent. degree. Subsequently, he completed an Implant Fellowship at the Center for Maxillofacial Prosthodontics, Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, USA. Since 2016, Dr. Fonseca has served at the University of Bern in Switzerland, where he obtained his MAS degree and currently holds positions as a full-time faculty member and Program Director of the Department's Postgraduate Program in Reconstructive Dentistry and Gerodontology.
