Hare Gürsoy

Professor of Periodontology, Yeditepe University, Istanbul Prof. Dr. Hare Gürsoy graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Marmara University in 2001 and completed her PhD in Periodontology at the same institution. She joined Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry in 2006, where she has been serving as a faculty member ever since. She was appointed Associate Professor in 2015 and became a Full Professor in 2021. In 2021, Prof. Gürsoy was selected by Eczacıbaşı to join the BioGaia Academy Experts Program in Sweden, earning her certification as a Probiotics Specialist. She currently coordinates the EFP-accredited Periodontology Program at Yeditepe University and serves as Associate Editor of the Yeditepe Clinical Journal. Prof. Gürsoy has authored numerous national and international publications and has been an active member of several professional organizations, including the Turkish Society of Periodontology, the European Federation of Periodontology, and the Dental Laser Academy Association, where she serves on the board. She is also a delegate of the Turkish Dental Association and currently scientific chair of the Turkish dental Association.
