Istvan Urban

DMD, MD, PhD • Dr. Urban received his DMD (1991) and MD (1996) degrees from Semmelweis University, School of Medicine and Dentistry (Budapest, Hungary). • Completed a residency in Oral Surgery at St. Istvan Hospital, Budapest (1992–1996). • Completed an internship in Periodontics at UCLA. • Graduated from the Fellowship Program in Implant Dentistry at Loma Linda University (1999–2000). • Appointed Assistant Professor at Loma Linda University in 2001. • Currently teaches Implant Dentistry in the graduate program at Loma Linda University. • Holds a California dental license and maintains a private practice in Budapest, Hungary. • Earned a PhD in Periodontology in 2012 from the University of Szeged, Hungary. • Author of multiple scientific publications and textbook chapters on bone regeneration and soft tissue reconstruction. • Regular international speaker in the field of Implant Dentistry.
