Utilising a digital workflow can significantly enhance the diagnosis, implant planning and placement process, leading to more predictable implant outcomes and better patient experience. This lecture will provide information on the advantages and effectiveness of guided surgery, explain the digital workflow from data acquisition, digital planning to the guided surgery itself, discovering the necessary steps and the useful tools to maximise the application of digital workflow that will lead to optimal surgical and prosthetic results. Learning objectives: Learn how to leverage the use of intra-oral scanners to digitally plan implant cases Identify important steps for data acquisition and images superimposition for a predictable virtual implant planning Become familiar with the implant planning software CoDiagnostiX (Dental Wings), including the new artificial intelligence assistant Understand how digital treatment planning can increase predictability and clinical outcomes
