Workshop

Immediate Temporization of Anterior Implants

Thursday, October 15 1:00 PM-5:00 PM
Dr. Moemen Metwally Dr. Bobby Baig

This hands-on workshop is designed for clinicians who want to master the art and science of temporization for immediate anterior implants. Focused on achieving optimal esthetic and biologic outcomes, this course will guide participants through the critical steps required to deliver predictable provisional restorations in the esthetic zone.

Attendees will learn how to evaluate case selection, preserve soft tissue architecture, and design provisionals that support ideal emergence profiles and gingival contours. Emphasis will be placed on implant positioning, provisional fabrication techniques, and chairside modifications that promote tissue stability and long-term success.

By the end of the workshop, clinicians will have a clear, repeatable workflow for immediate anterior implant temporization that prioritizes esthetics, function, and biologic principles.

Workshop

Advanced Maxillary Surgical Techniques (Pterygoids) & Digital Restorations

Thursday, October 15 1:00 PM-5:00 PM
Dr. Athena Goodarzi | Dr. Sean Mohtashami | Dr. Tirakhsh Emadi | 4M Institute

This comprehensive hands-on workshop is designed for clinicians seeking to elevate their approach to full-arch immediate loading in the maxilla through advanced maxillary surgical techniques, such as pterygoid placement. Participants will explore the anatomical rationale and biomechanical advantages of maximizing posterior support to reduce or eliminate distal cantilevers while avoiding more invasive grafting procedures.

Through guided instruction and practical exercises, attendees will learn safe, predictable surgical protocols for pterygoid implant placement, including critical anatomical landmarks, angulation strategies, risk management, and complication avoidance. Emphasis will be placed on proper case selection, prosthetically driven treatment planning, and achieving primary stability to support immediate loading.

The course will also cover the prosthetic phase, including immediate full-arch restoration utilizing photogrammetry and a fully digital workflow. Participants will gain experience in accurate intraoral data capture, digital verification, and efficient conversion to provisional or definitive restorations. By the end of the workshop, clinicians will have a clear, step-by-step framework for integrating advanced posterior maxillary solutions into full-arch treatment with confidence, precision, and efficiency.

Workshop

Mastering Glazing & Finishing for Zirconia Full Arch Prosthetics

Thursday, October 15 1:00 PM-5:00 PM
Ed Khalameizer

This hands-on workshop is perfect for dental teams performing full-arch implant surgery and restorations who seek to optimize their workflow and bring zirconia finishing in-house.

Participants will learn to integrate grammetry workflows to capture precise data, streamline communication between clinic and laboratory, and ensure accurate, predictable restorative outcomes.

Through lecture, demonstration, and hands-on application, attendees will gain practical experience in transitioning from a provisional to a definitive full-arch zirconia prosthesis. Emphasis will be placed on digital verification techniques, prosthetic design parameters, finishing procedures, and delivery protocols that optimize esthetics, function, and patient comfort.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Utilize the digital workflow for full-arch zirconia prostheses incorporating EXACT Grammetry and intraoral scanning.
  • Apply digital design and finishing protocols to enhance esthetic and functional outcomes.
  • Identify common challenges in digital full-arch workflows and employ strategies for resolution.
  • Communicate effectively with laboratory partners using digital design files and verification data.

Workshop

Same-Day Digital Indirect Restorations: From Scan to Restore

Thursday, October 15 1:00 PM-5:00 PM

Discover how chairside 3D printing is transforming indirect restorative dentistry in this immersive, hands-on educational experience. This workshop is designed to provide clinicians with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to integrate a complete digital workflow for same-day inlays, onlays and crowns using the latest technologies from Straumann Signature Midas.

Participants will explore the clinical advantages of indirect restorations over traditional direct composite techniques, including improved material properties, reduced polymerization shrinkage, enhanced marginal integrity, and long-term predictability. Through a combination of evidence-based lectures, live demonstrations, and guided hands-on exercises, attendees will learn the principles of ideal partial-coverage preparation design and experience a complete digital workflow from preparation to final cementation.

Throughout the course, participants will:

  • Understand the indications, advantages, and learn design principles for indirect inlays, onlays and crowns.
  • Capture digital impressions using the Sirios X3 intraoral scanner and evaluate preparation quality.
  • Design restorations using AXS Smart Design learning key design tools and workflow optimization.
  • Print chairside restorations using the Signature Midas printer.
  • Finish, glaze, polish, and bond restorations following validated clinical protocols using leading restorative materials and accessories.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Explain the clinical benefits of indirect restorative dentistry and appropriate case selection.
  • Apply ideal preparation design principles for predictable inlay and onlay restorations.
  • Utilize digital scanning techniques to capture accurate preparations and assess preparation quality.
  • Design chairside restorations using AI.
  • Fabricate restorations with Signature Midas and understand material selection for different indications.
  • Complete post-processing, finishing, glazing, polishing, and adhesive bonding using validated clinical workflows.
  • Evaluate how same-day digital workflows can improve efficiency, patient experience, and restorative outcomes.
