He is doubly qualified in dentistry and medicine and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He has over 20 years’ hospital experience including training in ENT and plastic surgery and held an Honorary Consultant post in Oral Implantology at Charing Cross Hospital. His experience in implants dates back to 1994 and includes intra and extra-oral implants to retain facial cosmetics/reconstruction following facial cancer surgery as a member of the Cranio-Facial team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. In private practice he limits his practice to surgical implantology and augmentation procedures including complex intra-oral grafting and the use of extra maxillary implants (zygomatic and pterygoid implants). He is a mentor for several implant companies and is actively involved in Implant education. He is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology 

James Hamill is a leading European expert in GuidedSMILE full arch, having completed more than 100 GuidedSMILE surgeries and supported hundreds of dentists across the UK, Ireland and Europe through training, mentoring and chairside guidance. With over 20 years’ experience in implant treatment, he is recognised for his expertise in guided implant dentistry. James helped bring the GuidedSMILE full arch system to Europe and developed a comprehensive approach covering case selection, planning, surgical support and education. An ITI Fellow and practising clinician, he brings a practical, patient-focused approach to implant training and believes guided surgery should become the industry standard.

Joe is currently an Hon. Visiting Professor. He is a registered specialist in Prosthodontics and Oral Surgery and limits his practice to Implant and Restorative Dentistry. His clinical time is spent as a private referral practitioner at the Moor Park Specialist Dental Centre. He has also been a Clinical Lecturer for the Master of Clinical Dentistry program at the Eastman Dental Institute in London. He is currently a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), Fellow of the International College of Dentists (ICD) and Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh for the Diploma in Implant Dentistry.
