Participation criteria

The ClearCorrect® SmileAward2022 contest is open to Orthodontists and General Practitioners from all over the world; each colleague may submit a case report (or however many cases the participant wishes) covering the treatment of any malocclusion with ClearCorrect clear aligners (all clinical on-label indications are accepted), focusing on the patient story and how the treatment changed her/his life. You can find the IFU here.

ClearCorrect Operating, LLC, ("ClearCorrect") will only accept cases for the ClearCorrect SmileAward 2022 in which only ClearCorrect clear aligners were used throughout the treatment. By entering the contest, you confirm that you have only used ClearCorrect clear aligners (and no other clear aligner brand) for the treatment.

To enter the contest, cases must be submitted online via the ClearCorrect Case Gallery from January 14th to April 20th 2022. To use this Case Gallery, you must register for a Case Gallery Account (if you do not already have one) and agree to the applicable ClearCorrect Case Gallery Terms & Conditions and Case Gallery Doctor Consent Agreement.

An entry consists of completing the required Case Gallery Submission fields, including a complete online treatment summary report, before photos and after photos. Progress photos are optional but are highly recommended. Radiographs and STL files are optional and should not be taken for the purpose of record submission into the program, but are encouraged if they are available.

In addition, it is encouraged to submit a video (maximum 4 minutes duration), which includes a combination of clinical images in high definition describing the case and a testimonial of the patient. You can find the video requirements here.

Please, before starting your video, make sure you are following the mandatory steps that will make the video be eligible for the award. This includes making sure that a copy of the patient consent is kept in the clinical file at the clinic (the candidate must be able to prove the patient agreed to have his/her case promoted).

Every accepted clinical case will be posted on the ClearCorrect Case Gallery for a public voting period, where everyone is invited to vote for their favorite case by giving a "like/reaction". Participants can also share the post in their private channels, however only the "likes/reactions" in the ClearCorrect Case Gallery will be considered valid for the final evaluation jury. The jury will receive the 25 most voted cases and will select the final 8 winners who will be announced during the ClearCorrectXP (CCXP) 2022 Global Virtual Event.
