Descripción

When extracting a tooth we know that we will loose important dimensions of the buccal bone plate (horizontally and vertically), which can compromise the optimal condition to restore the lost tooth by an implant. It is important to value in a precise way how alveolar ridge preservation techniques can contribute to functional and aesthetic results in our patients whom often present complex situations to restore. Alveolar ridge preservation is a technique to reduce loss of soft and hard tissues after extraction and can be performed immediately after extraction or in completely healed sites to obtain optimal dimensions and aesthetic results.
