Description

Titanium implants have dominated dental implantology since its inception back in the 1960s. Subsequently, the products and solutions, the scientific and clinical research, and the development and performance of this treatment is overwhelmingly based on the titanium implant systems. For clinicians considering adding ceramic implants (specifically, zirconia) to their portfolio, an obvious question is when to choose a ceramic implant, and why?
