Lausanne 17 June 2019 – The Straumann Group is among the top three companies in this year’s accolades for diversity and governance awarded by the Cercle Suisse des Administratrices (CSDA). Presented for a fifth consecutive year, the CSDA Awards recognize companies whose share of women on the Board of Directors is at least a quarter and which pursue a policy in favour of women in management positions. The CSDA aims to promote female Board Membership by recognizing companies with outstanding diversity policies. At the prize ceremony in Lausanne today, Monique Bourquin, Member of the Board and its Human Resources & Compensation Committee, received Straumann’s award on behalf of the Group. Straumann was a runner-up to this year’s outright winner, Caran d'Ache, where two of seven Board Members are women and the proportion of female managers is almost 30%. By contrast, two of Straumann’s eight directors are women and 32% of the Group’s Management team is female.
