Part 1 - Predictable Freehand Implant Placement for Quality Full Arch Restorations by Dr. Alex Fibishenko

Over the last 2 decades there has been a tremendous evolution in techniques as well as tools and technology that help us to treat more patients more successfully with dental implants. At the same time there has also been an evolution in patients’ expectations and in the definition of what is in fact “success”, especially with full arch restorations. A surgeon’s understanding of anatomical, biological and mechanical considerations is critical, and only comes with experience and insight through freehand surgery. The tools that are available today to plan implant surgery are indeed phenomenal, but using them for guided surgery may not only give novice clinicians a false sense of confidence but in fact also reduce their exposure to the very conditions that can make them into better surgeons with better success, the true modern definition of the word. Freehand surgery allows the surgeon freedom to amend the protocol depending on conditions at surgery such as bone quality, bone vascularity, soft tissue conditions, and to choose an implant accordingly, rather than being confined to a predefined course. Using a digital design and natural references the positioning of implants can be as accurate as guided surgery but without the constrains and limitations of guided stents and allows the surgeon to improve their anatomical knowledge and surgical skills.

Part 2 - ProArch® – Digital Planning and Guided Surgery by Dr. Kris Chmielewski

Full mouth rehabilitation based on the implant-supported reconstruction, is well established in advanced treatment protocols in implantology. However, digital techniques, including planning and guided surgery, has its advocates and opponents. In the webinar, I will present the benefits of the digital approach taking into consideration clinician and patient point of view. Guided surgery is one of the tools and needs to be used with wisdom and limited trust. Knowing the process's limitations, we can benefit from optimum implant positioning, precision, safety, and prosthetics.

Part 3 - ProArch Free hands vs. ProArch Guided Discussion n’ Debate with Dr. Alex Fibishenko, Dr. Kris Chmielewski and Dr. Pedro Rodrigues

The latest development in digital dentistry have enabled the treatment protocol to be less time consuming and provide precision in the surgical execution. But on the other side of the coin, free hand surgery provides the freedom of adjusting the protocol according to the clinical condition and in situ decision which might help clinicians to be very agile and master clinical skills. What are the questions you have in your mind? What is best for you? What are the skills you need to invest on? Join us in this “Discussion n’ Debate”, we have invited two expert panelist who are leader in the field of full arch rehabilitation to discuss valuable and key points of each approach, Free hand vs. Guided”.
