Alastair Robertson

Alastair Robertson serves as President of the Board of the Straumann Group Foundation, providing strategic leadership and governance to support the Foundation's mission of expanding sustainable access to oral healthcare. Working closely with the Board and Foundation leadership, he helps shape its long-term direction while ensuring strong governance and organizational development.

A passionate advocate for purpose-driven leadership, Alastair believes that organizations achieve their greatest impact when people are united by a meaningful mission. He brings this philosophy to the Foundation, where purpose, collaboration, and lasting social impact guide every decision.

Before taking on this role, Alastair served as Chief People Officer of Straumann Group, where he led the global people strategy during a period of significant international growth and transformation. His focus on leadership, organizational culture, and capability building helped strengthen the company's global workforce.

With more than three decades of international executive experience, Alastair has held senior leadership positions at Kingfisher Plc, C&A, Panalpina, and Tetra Pak. He began his career as an officer in the British Army after graduating from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

Today, he combines his extensive leadership experience with a deep commitment to purpose-driven organizations, helping the Foundation create sustainable and lasting impact in communities around the world.
