Silvia Dobry

Silvia Dobry serves as Head of Group Corporate Communications and Philanthropy at Straumann Group and as a Board Member of the Straumann Group Foundation. She contributes strategic guidance to the Foundation, supporting its mission to expand sustainable access to oral healthcare while strengthening its visibility, partnerships, and long-term impact.

With more than 20 years of international experience in corporate communications and stakeholder engagement, Silvia brings extensive expertise in building trust, fostering collaboration, and connecting purpose with action. She is passionate about creating meaningful engagement with employees, partners, and communities, helping translate social responsibility into lasting initiatives.

Since joining Straumann Group in 2020, Silvia has led the company's global communications strategy, encompassing external and internal communications as well as corporate philanthropy. In this role, she has helped shape the Group's global reputation while advancing programmes that encourage employee engagement, community outreach, and disaster relief.

Before joining Straumann, Silvia held senior communications and corporate affairs roles at Biogen, Roche, and Sonova, gaining broad international experience across the pharmaceutical and medical technology sectors.

She holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences in Basel and is committed to using communication as a catalyst for collaboration, trust, and sustainable social impact.
