JANA ERDMANN

Jana Erdmann serves as Deputy Director of the Straumann Group Foundation, where she helps shape and implement the Foundation's mission to expand sustainable access to oral healthcare for underserved communities around the world. As a key contributor to the Foundation's establishment, she played an important role in developing its strategy, program portfolio, and operating model, helping build an organization focused on long-term impact through strong local partnerships.

Jana brings expertise in program development, impact management, communications, and partnership building. She is passionate about designing initiatives that respond to local needs, foster meaningful collaboration, and are guided by transparency, accountability, and measurable outcomes. Her work focuses on strengthening trusted partnerships and ensuring the Foundation's resources create lasting value for the communities it serves.

Before assuming her current role, Jana spent five years in Corporate Communications and Philanthropy at Straumann Group, where she played a key role in the company’s financial and non-financial reporting. She contributed to the company's sustainability and philanthropic initiatives and drove the development of the Foundation. Earlier in her career, she held positions in education, communications, and marketing at Straumann, BMW, and within the cultural sector.

Jana holds a Master's degree in Applied Cultural Studies from Leuphana University Lüneburg. She brings a collaborative, purpose-driven approach to advancing the Foundation's mission and creating sustainable social impact through partnership and innovation.
